• Apply for a postgraduate master’s degree at the University of Twente and receive an admission letter

• Have a student number

  • OR be an undergraduate student at UT who has not yet received a degree

• Meet the requirements to obtain an entry visa for the Netherlands (if applicable)

• Meet the English language requirements:

  • Academic IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT 90), plus a minimum of IELTS 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) in speaking

  • This requirement is not necessary for applicants from English-speaking countries

• Not be eligible for a Dutch study loan

• Be an excellent student, typically ranking in the top 5–10% of your class

Scholarship Duration and Award for University of Twente 2026

• Students receive between €3,000 and €22,000 for one year

Extension for Two-Year Programs
