MRS Oil Nigeria Scholarship 2026 (Secondary School & Undergraduate)




The MRS Oil Nigeria Scholarship is designed to support the children of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc employees and shareholders in achieving academic excellence. The scholarship provides full financial support to eligible students at both secondary school and undergraduate levels.

The award is open to undergraduates who have secured admission into government-owned or accredited private tertiary institutions, as well as Senior Secondary School (SS1–SS3) students attending approved secondary schools in Nigeria.

Eligibility Requirements for MRS Oil Nigeria Scholarship 2026

To qualify for the MRS Oil Nigeria Plc Scholarship (2025/2026 session), applicants must meet all of the following conditions:

  • Be a child of a shareholder or employee of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc

  • Be enrolled in a government-owned or accredited private institution as stated in the official guidelines

  • Demonstrate strong academic performance, with a minimum of five (5) distinctions in JSCE or SSCE

  • Meet any additional requirements specified in the official scholarship terms


Secondary School Applicants (SS1–SS3)

Applicants for the secondary school category must:

  • Have completed the Junior Secondary Certificate Examination (JSCE)

  • Possess a minimum of five (5) distinctions (A grades) at one sitting, including Mathematics and English Language

  • Have JSCE results available at the time of application

  • Be 18 years old or younger at the time of application

  • Be a Nigerian citizen

  • Be a child of a confirmed employee or individual shareholder of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc

  • Not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship


Undergraduate Applicants

Applicants for the undergraduate category must:

  • Have completed the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent (NECO or GCE)

  • Obtain a minimum of five (5) distinctions (A grades) in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, at one sitting

  • Have secured admission into an approved tertiary institution in Nigeria (University, Polytechnic, or Monotechnic)

  • Be 25 years old or younger at the time of application

  • Be a Nigerian citizen

  • Be a child of a confirmed employee of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc

  • Not be receiving any other scholarship
